At first glance, Kirby and the Forgotten Land appeared to be a fun open-world take on the standard formula. It looked like more of the same, which was fine. Fans know exactly what to expect from the pink puffball by now, as Kirby has been around for over thirty years. However, when the Mouthful Mode mechanic was announced, everything changed.

The hype level went from normal to 11. The idea of Kirby turning into cars, vending machines, and traffic cones lit the internet on fire. Besides wanting to play this ridiculous game, people began to imagine what else Kirby could suck up and become. These are only a handful of the great Kirby and the Forgotten Land memes that resulted from those ponderings.
8 Horizon: Forbidden Kirby
One of the biggest revelations in Horizon: Forbidden West was the identity of the Zeniths: a race of superhumans that left Earth to survive in space for more than a thousand years. They eventually came back to Earth, however, just to suck up the world’s resources and further the Zenith cause.

It was a big surprise, but it would have been even more mind-blowing to find out that it was actually Kirby who was the one behind the whole thing. He does kind of look like alien goo after all, so him taking over the Zenith Tilda almost makes sense.
7 Karbies
Kirby’s Mouthful Mode was first showcased using a car. It is only natural, then, that a majority of the memes surrounding Kirby and the Forgotten Land would poke fun at Kirby’s car form like this one from the movie Cars.
It would be interesting if the game had a racetrack mini-game. Why else would Nintendo want to include a car form? Not being able to race like Lightning McQueen seems like a waste, but gamers will soon find out one way or the other.

6 Kirby Fully Loaded
Kirby Fully Loaded is a fun play on the movie, Herbie: Fully Loaded. It is another Disney flick like Cars, except this time humans are involved too. It’s a remake of a classic movie about a beat-up old sentient car that is repaired and given a second chance at life.

Kirby possessing a car should technically give it life too, so the joke kind of fits. Thinking about it, Kirby would be perfect for a Disney movie or a game. He’s cute, doesn’t talk, and has a secret dark side that no one likes to talk about.
5 Neon Genesis Kirbvangelion

Neon Genesis Evangelion is one of the most messed-up anime around. The last two episodes have the main character Shinji contemplating existence from a chair. It was not the ending fans had hoped for, but this was eventually corrected in the movie, The End of Evangelion.
Kirby forming over Shinji’s body works on many levels. One, fans could say this as comforting. Assuredly Kirby is warm with his embrace being soft and gooey like a marshmallow. Two, Kirby taking over is like the crew turning into LCL juice in the film. It’s all about embracing the end.
4 Fusion Metroid
Metroid Fusion is a game that is often forgotten about due to it being exclusive to the Game Boy Advance. It was different from any Metroid game that came before it because Samus loses her iconic suit. Instead, an alien goo forms around her, fusing its DNA with hers and creating a new form in the process.

Kirby could easily stand in for this goo in a theoretical sequel. Just think of the possibilities. It’s odd that not more Nintendo games don't crossover with each other. Super Smash Bros. and Mario sports titles are the only examples that instantly spring to mind.
3 Dragon Ball K
It shouldn’t have to be said but the K stands for Kirby and is a play on the iconic anime series, Dragon Ball Z. This scene replaces Cell with Kirby, and it works hilariously well. After Cell is backed into a corner, he decides to blow himself up and then explode.

Before he can do that, however, Goku uses instant transmission to teleport Cell over to King Kai’s place in order to save Earth from the bio-android's explosion. Kirby can explode as well if he has the right power equipped. He probably wouldn’t want to destroy the world though, because then he could no longer eat.
2 He’s Got The Whole World In His Mouth
This title plays off the religious song, “He's Got The Whole World In His Hands.” Kirby may not want to destroy the Earth with an explosion, but that doesn’t mean that he wouldn't eat it if given half a chance. That really would be the ultimate snack.
Imagine eating everything on Earth at once and what that would taste like. Would it be terrible or would the good materials outweigh the toxic ones? If Kirby doesn’t become a planet of some sort in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, then Nintendo screwed up.

1 Sus
Kirby’s powers allow him to gain abilities once he eats a creature. Swallowing a knight, for example, will give him a sword. He doesn’t technically become the creature that he swallows, but he does take on its traits. Wouldn’t that make him perfect for a game of Among Us?
Kirby is an iconic character. He may not be as recognizable as Mario, but he is still right up there with the best. With this in mind, a crewmate walking around with Kirby’s iconic coloring and eyes might be a little too obvious. That's not to say that it wouldn't still make for a fun Nintendo-exclusive crossover, however.
